Computerized Adjustment
This technology allows us to deliver high-tech, controlled adjustments that are designed to target the underlying source of pain. Not only spinal related problems such as low back pain, neck pain and headaches are managed with this instrument, but the instrument also effectively allows us to treat extremity conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder pain, knee pain and foot pain such as plantar fasciitis.
Years of research have have gone into the development of the Impulse IQ adjusting instrument to create gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments that are safe and effective for patients of all ages.
Extreme Speed–The Impulse IQ is 100x faster than manual chiropractic adjustments, creating a gentle thrust that is faster than the body’s tendency to tighten up and resist the adjustment.
Frequency Tuned Waveform–Impulse IQ is specially tuned to the natural frequency of the body that joints, muscles and nerves respond to, optimizing the results.
Manual Adjustment
The most commonly used technique, Diversified is a hands-on technique by which misaligned spinal bones are discovered through palpation (pressure and touch), and then a specific manual thrust is used to restore normal alignment and movement. Years of education and experience determine the speed, depth, and angle of the adjustment. A popping sound is often heard, which is simply gas being released out of the joint capsule.
Activator Adjustment
Activator is an adjusting technique which utilizes a hand-held adjusting instrument which delivers a low-force, high-speed thrust. Many patients find this very comfortable, and because the speed of the adjustment is much faster than an adjustment delivered by hand, the body does not have time to resist and tighten up.
Flexion-Distraction
We have specialized adjusting tables that allow us to gently traction the spine, opening up the canals that the spinal nerves exit the spine through, and opening up compressed spinal discs. Our patients comment on how relaxing this procedure is for them.
